Strandvägen is probably familiar to most people – but what do you find beyond the highway? If you want a different vacation day we recommend you to get on the bike and make a day-trip on roads you normally wouldn’t ride. To take the bike to the ferry and go with the ferry over to Bergö is an easy and relaxing expedition. You get the time to see most of the island and then you can take a break at the cozy café called Skärgårdsdelikatess before you bike back to Molpe.
Or you could steer south and bike through Korsnäs and on towards Harrström and Rangsby. In Fagerö you can enjoy really big ice creams or play minigolf. You can also play minigolf in Åminne if you steer the bike north. Select the old, curvy highway and avoid car traffic. You can also go to Petalax and from there ride the bike along calm, shadowy gravel roads – either to Korsbäck or Taklax. In case you rent an electric bike you get big help in up to 130 kilometers, and your main task becomes to enjoy the view.
